Goff p 215-245 & 246-263 reading- blog assignment

How its going to work: We're going to try a similar format to the last blog- except this time 5 of your classmates (instead of 3) will be writing a "main" blog post. Therefore, the rest of you are being asked to comment on each of the 5 main blogs.
Breakdown:
  • Kaitlyn- Hitler's rise to power
  • Kaylan- Italian expansion- Mussolini
  • Sarah- Middle East
  • Tess- Successes of the League of Nations
  • Anna- Stalin's leadership and actions taken
**I know its going to be hard for you all to discuss the League of Nations in terms of its successes- but we felt like so far we've just been focused on how much of an 'epic fail' it was- so with this blog and comments please try to focus more on its successes!

Note: For the main bloggers- this assignment is due by Saturday, 11th at 5 pm.
For the rest of you, you need to have the 5 comments up before class on Monday.

Again, if you have any question, comment on this blog and I'll try my best to help you out. I thought last time this format worked great, so keep it up :)

New Style :)

So we're going to try out a new style for this next blog assignment. After reading the assigned text in Goff (p. 241-253) we are asking three of your classmates to create a post and that is what the rest of you will be commenting on.
So here's how its going to work:
  • Hannah is going to be writing her post about Japanese expansion.
  • Kate C. will create a post on appeasement in Europe.
  • Maddi will create a post on the expansion of Communism
These three girls have until this Saturday, December 5th, at 5 pm to write their posts. After they've completed and submitted their posts, the rest of you have until Monday's class to comment on all three of their posts.
I know this is new, and possibly confusing- so if you have any questions on how this is supposed to play out, or what is expected of you- comment on this blog post and I will try to clarify as best I can.
Keep working hard, you're all doing fantastic work!
